Sami Papacek is a personal trainer, cancer exercise specialist and fitness educator. She has been in the fitness industry for almost 10 years.
She started weight training and aerobics when she was 15 years old, discovering how much she enjoyed the mental and physical benefits that she received. During college she qualified as a group exercise instructor at the University of Minnesota. From that experience she realized how enjoyable and fulfilling teaching classes could be. She states that, “It was always such a great feeling to have participants come up to you after class and thank YOU for being there to teach.” This led Sami to do some Extreme Fitness competitions, as well as assisting others with their exercise programs.
After two years on the road with a sales job and a more than 30 pound weight gain, Sami realized the importance of a consistent exercise program and the value of proper nutrition. She learned the difficulties and stresses of a career and the busy life we all lead. Sami knew that exercise and eating right was important to how she felt and performed every day. From there, Sami decided to pursue her personal training certification to help others.
She has experience with goals such as weight loss, pilates, core conditioning, as well as cancer survivor exercise plans. She works with men and women of all ages and experience levels. Sami is currently working on a breast cancer exercise program for those that do not have access to a cancer exercise specialist.
Sami's training style is energetic, motivating and, most of all, fun. She believes that exercise should not be boring or repetitive. She prides herself in keeping her clients motivated but consistently changing their workouts according to their goals.
